Observation shows that exposure to social interactions, levels of restrictiveness and permissiveness, lack of sexual orientation, faulty sexual trajectory, inadequate understanding of hormonal growth and negative sensitization media programmes affect the proper trajectory of secondary school adolescents. A descriptive survey research design was adopted. The population were all students from mixed public, private and international Senior Secondary Schools, in SSS. II in Owode Local Government, Ogun State. A total of five hundred and four (504) out of which four hundred and ninety-two (492) respondents were selected through systematic random sampling technique. A modified questionnaire of three sections were administered across six senior secondary schools in Owode Local Government with reliability coefficient of 0.83 Cronbach alpha. Eight research questions and three hypotheses guided this study. Findings show that both sexology and cultural norms significantly influence the adolescent sexual trajectory (r =0.003, p<0.05). In-addition, there is a significant relationship between permissive, restrictive norms and adolescent sexual trajectory (r = 0.0299, p<0.05). Similarly, there is a significant relationship between sexual orientation, age consent on adolescent sexual trajectory ( r = 0.0142, p<0.05). Based on these findings, it was therefore recommended that parents nurture children with love, care and the right sexual orientation from the start. Likewise, the Ministry of Education should formulate and implement a policy that will further favour the introduction of the subject of sex education. Furthermore, school counsellors, counselling psychologists and teachers should create awareness of sexual cultural norms (LGBTQS)and prioritise adolescence sexual education as associated with sexual trajectory.
