dc.description.abstractThe study investigated teachers’ in-training programme for sustainability of early childhood education in Ibadan North East Local Government Area of Oyo State. Five research questions guided the study. It was a descriptive survey research design using questionnaire to gather the relevant data for the study. Frequency count, percentages mean and average were used for data analysis. It was found out that in-service training programme organized for teachers improves their quality of teaching and enhances the classroom management of the teachers. Therefore, in-service training programme impacts on the sustainability of early childhood education in Ibadan North East Local Government. It was recommended that for the sustainability of early childhood education, the government, private bodies and parents Teachers Associations should work cooperatively in the provision of resources and financing of in-service training programmes.
