dc.description.abstractThe study examined the relationship between automated human resource management practices and employee health and safety management system with automation as moderating variable in Keystone Auto Company, Ogun State, Nigeria. The population was derived from 72 employees of Keystone Auto Company and Simple Random technique was used in selecting random sample of 60 employees for data collection. The method of data collection used for the study was from primary source of data using questionnaire. The primary data was collected by a self-administered structured questionnaire and was summarized using descriptive statistics to establish the mean count with statements on automated human resource management practices adopted and employee health and safety management system. The quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results for automation of training shows (r = 0.624; F= 35.411; t = 6.317; p< 0.05). It is, therefore concluded from the result that training practices is a significant predictor of Employee HSEMS and the result for automation of reward shows (t = 7.452; p< 0.05); hence, reward is a significant predictor of Employee HSEMS in the company. The study concludes that there is a high degree of influence of automation of human resources practices on health and safety of employee in the company. The study recommended the adoption of HSE incentive system and rewards for staff who performs well in the company, so as to ensure that working safely can earn them some incentives in Keystone Auto Company.
