Item Treasury Single Account (TSA) and Management of Financial Resources in Federal Tertiary Institutions in Kwara State Nigeria(Lead City University, 2020) Abbas Babajide AyodejiThe Treasury Single Account (TSA) was recently implemented fully in the Nigerian economy by the present government to ensure prudence and probity in the management of financial resources. TSA came as a quick fix to regulate the level of accountability and transparency in managing the financial resources of the government of the country. With the TSA, the government expects to block all loopholes and leakages of financial resources of the government and also ensure a robust financial management system. This paper, therefore, provides the conceptual meaning of the TSA and also, outlines its expected benefits to the economy of Nigeria. This paper also analyzes the objectives of the TSA systems and its various accounts. This paper finally discussed the prospects of the TSA system and its challenges and concludes that the system requires political will, honesty and determination to overcome the various challenges identified in the paper to achieve the expected benefits of the system. It was recommended that the policy framework of TSA should be reviewed and amended where necessary to include training of bursary staffs in the use of ICT amongst others. The survey research design was adopted, the population of the study covered all members of staff of the Bursary department of both University of Ilorin (143 staffs) and Federal Polytechnic Offa (40 staffs).The research instrument used is the structured questionnaire, while data was collected through primary source. The data collected was quantified and statistically analyzed using frequency table, correlation and regression analysis. The result of the data collected was analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) while computer software was used to determine the correlation and regression of the various variables for easy interpretation. Word Count: 295Item Testing the Effectiveness of Money Supply on Inflation in Nigeria(Lead City University, 2022-12) Adeniyi Benjamin ADEDOYINThis study examined Forensic Accounting Practices and Tax revenue in Nigeria. Following the adoption of forensic accounting, lots of research has been carried out to investigate the effect of forensic accounting practices and tax revenue. However, very few of these studies have been able to empirically validate the nexus between forensic accounting practices adoption and tax revenue. It is on this basis that this study examined the effect of forensic accounting practices and tax revenue in Nigeria. Survey research design was adopted for the study, the population comprises of four hundred and seventeen (278) employees of selected 69 listed offices in 6 states (Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti & Ondo) of FIRS with respondents randomly selected. A structure questionnaire was administered. The instrument was validated and data gathered were analyzed. Out of 278 questionnaire items administered, 271 were retrieved (97.4% response rate). The study found that fraud prevention & Detection (F =332.858, (R) =.672, (R2) =.451, p value =0.000<0.05); fraud deterrence (F= 7.587, (R) =.136, (R2) .018, p value= .003<0.05; fraud investigation (F =364.436, (R) =.688, (R2) .474, p value= .000<0.05 and tax audit & (F =3.825, (R ) =.097, (R2) =.009, p value = .051<0.05) and forensic accounting practices (fraud prevention & Detection, fraud deterrence, fraud investigation, tax audit & investigation) F= 653.998, R-squared =.891, p value 0.00<0.05) were found to have positive significant relationship between forensic accounting practices and tax revenue in Nigeria. The study therefore concludes that fraud prevention and detection, fraud deterrence, fraud investigation and tax audit & investigation were quintessential factors in determining tax revenue of FIRS. It was recommended that researchers, State Inland Revenue Service and Stakeholders should consider the effect of fraud prevention, detection, fraud deterrence, fraud investigation, tax audit & investigation when making organization decision. As banking industries move on with wide range of activities, fraud can therefore occur from both internal and external sources which have negative effect on the organization forensic accounting techniques, internal control system on fraud prevention in selected deposit money banks in Ibadan North LGA, Oyo State, Nigeria. The research design used was the descriptive survey. The population of the study consisted of 5 deposit banks, total of 20 staff members which was accomplished by purposive sampling procedures with each bank having four key staff members (a head of operations, a fund transfer officer, resident internal control officials, and cash officials). Primary data were collected using the questionnaire instrument. Multiple regression was used with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 23.0 to test the hypothesis.The regression analysis revealed that the p-value (0.00)for the independent variable is significant at the 0.05 level of significance; the R2 of 0.568 has moderate explanatory power for the variation in the dependent variable (Fraud Prevention) and it is moderately fit of the regression, the calculated F regression analysis of 5.998 is significantly is significant atp=0.00.Therefore, Ho1 was rejected. The findings revealed that many of the respondents are aware and had a good knowledge of forensic accounting and there exist a relationship between forensic accounting techniques, internal control system and Fraud Prevention in selected deposit money banks in Nigeria. The study therefore, recommends that staffs, ranging from head of operations, fund transfer officer, resident internal control officials, and cash officials, should attend conferences and seminars within and outside the country on the applicability of forensic accounting skills and techniques to prevent fraud and detect whenever it is perpetrated. To explore employees' attitudes toward saving in the contributory pension reform scheme, this study used a descriptive survey research design and relied on primary data collected through field work and archives. Questionnaires were given to 262 employees of the Oyo State Public Service as a means of gathering data for the study. Questionnaires are an effective quantitative research instrument for studying human attitudes and behavior. Necessary changes, and the final draft was evaluated using the Cronbach's Alpha test. Result depicts that about 64.5% systematic variation in Employees savings (ES) is explained by pension reform (PR) while the remaining 35.5% could be attributed to exogenous factors. 64.1% of the total variation in employees’ savings is accounted by changes in the incorporated explanatory variable. The F-ratio value of 207.939 is found to be statistically significant at (P<0.01). Value of constant (ά0) of 0.729 with significant t-statistics value of 10.583 implies the value of employees’ savings at zero level of pension reform. While the coefficient pension reform (1) is 1.387 indicates that a unit increase in pension reform will result to an increase of 1.387 in employees’ savings. The general form of the model to predict RPB from PR is predicted ES = 0.729 + (1.387) CPS + U0 as obtained from coefficients table. Contributory Pension Reform assures that employees establish a saving habit that leads to investment vital for economic development. Study came to the conclusion that the Contributory Pension Reform had an impact on workers' savings. PFAs may establish a more comprehensive and robust asset portfolio investment strategy. Similar to this is auditors need to embrace big data analytics in this era of big data. In the light of this, this study examined the effect of automated accounting system (AAS) and big data analytics (BDAs) on external audit process in South-west, Nigeria. A descriptive (cross sectional) survey design was adopted for this study while primary data was sourced with the aid of structured questionnaire drawn on four Likert scale and and a total 514 copies questionnaire were physically/virtually administered to auditors in private engagement in six states of South west, Nigeria. Collected data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics such as percentages and means while partial least square structural equation. Findings show that AAS has significant effect on audit independence (Adjusted R 2 =0.728; p<0.05. AAS has significant effect on audit quality (Adjusted R 2 of 0.841; p<0.05. Also, AAS has significant effect on determination of audit fees (Adjusted R 2 = 0.785; p< 0.05) while AAS is equally found to have significant on audit evidence (Adjusted R 2 of 0.798; p< 0.05) and the effect of BDAs on both audit quality and audit evidence is found to be significant (Adjusted R 2 = 0.687; p<0.05) and (Adjusted R 2 = 0.868; p<0.05) respectively. The joint effect of AAS and BDAs on external audit process is equally found to be significant (Adjusted R 2 = 0.868; and p<0.05). The study recommends that corporate institutions in South-west, Nigeria should embrace automated accounting system, while audit firms especially those in mid-tier should embrace capacity building in form of training of every staff members in engagement team on the application of BDAs. Customers' increased understanding of the necessity of having a healthy lifestyle has put the soft drink company in a difficult position. Hence, it became imperative to examine the effect of emotional branding as a strategy to address customer perception of soft-drink companies in Ogun State, Nigeria. This study adopted a cross-sectional survey research design, and the population was infinite beverage consumers in Ogun State. A sample size of 460 consumers was computed using the formula recommended by Cochran (1963). The study adopted a multi-stage sampling technique to select participants in Ogun State. A validated questionnaire was used to collect data. The Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficients for the constructs ranged from 0.71 to 0.94. A response rate of 95.4% was achieved for the study. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings revealed that emotional branding has significant influence on customer perception (R2 = 0.628, F(1,318)= 656.295, p= 0.000). Story telling has significant influence on customer perception (R 2 = 0.181, F(1,318)= 54.943, p= 0.000). Branding has significant effect on customer perception (R 2= 0.611, F(1,318)= 609.348, p= 0.000). Empowerment has significant influence on customer perception (R 2 = 0.436, F(1,318)= 299.825, p= 0.000). This was for the purpose of ascertaining the influence of team spirit, compensation, motivational factor, employees` morale on productivity in selected SMEs, in Lagos, Nigeria. The descriptive survey method was adopted for the study. A total of 400 small medium enterprises (SMEs) business organizations were selected for the study using purposive sampling technique. For data collection, the researcher utilizes sets of questionnaire titled, Employee Morale and Productivity in selected SMEs in Lagos state, Nigeria. The Simple frequency count, Pearson Product Moment Correlation was used for data analysis. The finding of the study revealed that level of perception on employee morale in the SMEs is of moderate type with the weighted average mean of (2.88). Also, motivation, team spirit have negative effect on productivity in the selected SME. Besides, compensation has positive effect on product quality enhancement in the selected SMEs and employee morale constituted impendent to a high extent to productivity in the selected SMEs. Based on the findings of the study; it is recommended that the employees working environment which embraces organizational support programmes, training and development, substantive welfare package and conducive socio-political environment should be provided for employees. The study looked at the element that constitute credit management, credit policy and credit terms, collection effort and credit periods and credit standards and guidelines. However, various literatures relating to the subject matter were reviewed, questionnaire were administered to the employees of Zenith bank Plc. So as to elicit the required information needed in determining the study. Moreover, hypothesis formulated where tested using both chi- square and linear regression as the statistics and tools for knowing fully well that the sources of the data were both primary and secondary data. The PV shows that (0.05 or 0.5) from the analysis made. The researcher found out the credit management has a direct and positive relationship with profitability of financial institution. Based on the findings, the researcher recommends among others: Bank must operate within sound, well defined credit, this should be included a clear indication of the Bank’s target market and a thorough understanding of the borrower or counterpart as well as the purpose and structure of the credit, and it source of repayment. It is against this background that this study was embarked upon to investigate the influence of promotional strategies on customer patronage among telecom subscribers in Nigeria. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey research design. The population of the study comprises of customers of four telecommunication service providers in selected local governments in Ogun State. The target population was 8.5million active subscribers in Ogun State. A sample size of 462 was computed using Raosoft online sample size calculator. A structured questionnaire was adopted in collecting data for the study. The reliability statistic has Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient ranging from 0.72 to 0.87. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS version 25. From the result of the regression analysis, the study found that advertising has positive and significant effect on customer patronage (R 2 = 0.181, F(1,248)= 54.943, p= 0.000); Sales promotion has positive and significant effect on customer patronage (R 2 = 0.28, F(1,248)= 97.950, p= 0.000); Public relations have positive and significant effect on customer patronage (R 2 = 0.482, F(1,248)= 230.642, p= 0.000); Direct marketing has positive and significant effect on customer patronage (R 2 = 0.118, F(1,248)= 33.175, p= 0.000); and Promotional strategies have positive and significant effect customer patronage (Adj R 2 = 0.749, F(4,245)= 187.046, p= 0.000) among telecom subscribers in Ogun State, Nigeria. Based on the findings, the study concluded that promotional strategies had significant effect on customer patronage among telecommunication subscribers in selected local governments in Ogun State. The study used secondary data acquired from the selected food and beverage companies' yearly reports and records for 10 years and other relevant academic publications. The population of the study comprises all the 17 food and beverage companies quoted on the trading floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). A sample size of 15 companies were then purposively selected. Content analysis was deployed to determine the extent of disclosures in their annual reports, panel data regression models was deployed in exploring facts and in examining the research objectives of investigating the relationship between social disclosures and financial performance. Social disclosure was captured by CMI, EMC, PDR and HRP while financial performance was proxied by ROE, ROA, LEV, and EPS. The result showed that EMC has a positive relationship and insignificant with ROA at 0.0871 while CMI, PDR, & HRD have negative but insignificant relationship with ROA at -0.771, - 1.762, & -0.471. Further finding shows that CMI has a significant negative relationship with ROE at -8.204 with the result indicating 1% level of significance, while EMC, PDR & HRP have positive but insignificant relationship with ROE at 2.350, 2.516 & 0.599 respectively. The study observed that an increase in the social disclosures may not necessarily lead to increase in financial performance of the company. Therefore, the research concluded that voluntary corporate social disclosure alone would not lead to higher financial performance of food and beverage companies in Nigeria. The study however recommended that managers and Chief Executives of companies in Nigeria should endeavor to encourage the preparation of standalone reports, as against the current practice, and policymakers should strengthen social disclosure responsibilities.Item Financial Reporting Quality, Ownership Structure and Financial Performance of Nigerian Non-Financial Quoted Companies (2009-2020)(Lead City University, 2022-12) Ilesanmi Isaac OMOLEThe study examined the trend and pattern of financial reporting quality from 2009 to 2020, assessed the factors that determine financial reporting quality of non-financial quoted Nigerian companies and investigated the long run and short run effects of financial reporting quality on corporate performance of non-financial quoted companies in Nigeria. It also analyzed the dynamic relationships among financial reporting quality, ownership structure and corporate performance of non-financial quoted companies and examined the interactive effects of financial reporting quality and ownership structure and corporate performance of non-financial quoted companies in Nigeria. The study employed secondary source of data collection. A sample of 60 quoted companies out of 107 non-financial listed companies in Nigeria were purposively selected based on availability of required information in their annual reports and the existence of the companies over a period of 2009-2020. The findings revealed that interaction between financial reporting quality and ownership structure has a positive effect on performance. The study recommended that regulatory agency should pay adequate attention to monitoring rules that will guarantee definite rules for the avoidance of “window dressing behavior” of management in financial reporting, also, should Endeavor to regulate the ownership structure of companies through policies, so as to stimulate the financial performance. Industrial regulators should emphasize the need for the mix of institutional, foreign and managerial involvement in companies, both in terms of equity ownership and significant presence on the board of directors to allay the agency problems, thereby help to reduce the conflict of interest between managers and shareholders, companies should increase their institutional owners since its control mechanisms would avoid collision between managers and dominants shareholders so as to prevent the problem of expropriation. It is expected that effective internal control mechanisms in any organization assist to improve the achievement of organization’s goals and objectives. As it is yet to be determined whether or not the internal control mechanism has a major impact on performance of DMBs in Nigeria, this study was prompted by the fact that there are still numerous unresolved issues in Nigeria's DMBs' internal control mechanisms. Primary data was collected using questionnaires administered to top level employees and other employees of 11 banks using a purposive random sample of 150 respondents out of which 97 responses were collected. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, exploratory factor analysis and regression with aid of Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 26. The result of the analysis shows that risk assessment, monitoring activities and control activities each have a positive and significant impact on financial, non financial and overall organizational performance DMBs in Nigeria. Based on the research findings it can be concluded that internal control mechanism is a significant predictor of organization performance and that effective internal control systems must incorporate the effects of risk assessment, monitoring and control activities to enhance organizational performance of DMBs. The study therefore recommended that internal control systems especially risk assessment, monitoring activities and control activities are significant areas and management of DMBs in Nigeria should give great attention to them in order to improve organizational performance. Word Count: 295Item Brand Management Practices and Market Performance of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods in Lagos State, Nigeria(Lead City University, 2023) Ademola Joshua, ADENIRANMany consumer packaged goods (FMCG) companies in Nigeria, particularly in Lagos State, are suffering from a continuous loss in market performance as a direct result of difficulties related with brand management practises. In addition, the market performance of FMCG companies in Nigeria experienced a decline in profitability, sales growth, customer retention, and market share. This trend is symptomatic of difficulties connected with poor brand management practises by FMCG companies operating in an environment that is extremely competitive and dynamic in nature. Hence, this study investigated the effect brand management practices (internal branding, brand equity, brand orientation and brand value) on market performance of fast moving consumer goods in Lagos State, Nigeria. This study adopted a descriptive research design, and the population consisted of 18,382 employees from the five FMCG companies that were chosen for the study. The Taro Yamane formula was utilised to arrive at a sample size of 508 employees. The study adopted stratified random sampling technique to select employee in the selected FMCG’s firms. A validated questionnaire was used to collect data. For the purpose of data collection, a validated questionnaire was utilised. There was a wide range of values for the Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficients for the constructions, from 0.71 to 0.87. A response rate of 84.84% was achieved for the fast-moving consumer goods in Lagos State, Nigeria. Data were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics (Multiple and Hierarchical regression). Findings revealed that brand management practices have significant effects on profitability of fast moving consumer goods in Lagos State, Nigeria (Adj R2= 0.081, F(4,427)= 10.484, p=0.000). Brand management practices had significant effect on market share of fast moving consumer goods in Lagos State, Nigeria (Adj R2= 0.026, F(4,427)= 3.839, p= 0.000). Brand management practices had significant effect on sales growth of fast moving consumer goods in Lagos State, Nigeria (Adj R2= 0.119, F(4,427)= 15.600, p= 0.000). Brand management practices had significant effect on customer retention of fast moving consumer goods in Lagos State, Nigeria (Adj R2= 0.058, F(4,427)= 7.629, p= 0.000). Brand management practices had significant effect on market performance of fast moving consumer goods in Lagos State, Nigeria (R² = 0.070, F(1, 430) = 32.317, p = 0.000). Brand culture have no significant moderating effect on the association between brand management practices and market performance of fast moving consumer goods in Lagos State, Nigeria (ΔR2= 0.004, F(3,428)= 11.486, p= 0.177). In light of these findings, it can be concluded that effective brand management practices play a pivotal role in significantly improving the market performance of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies in Lagos State, Nigeria. The study recommended that management of FMCG firms should embrace brand management practices for the purpose of strengthening their brands which will result to improved market performance. By prioritising brand management, these companies can gain a competitive edge, build consumer trust, and consequently witness a marked improvement in their market performance, leading to increased sales and market share in a dynamic and highly competitive environment. Against the backdrop of a rapidly growing population and an ever-evolving healthcare landscape, the ability of the government to fund and enhance the healthcare system becomes paramount. Hence, this study examined the impact of tax revenues collected by the federal government of Nigeria on infrastructural development of the health sector. The study adopted an ex post facto research design. The data required for the study was obtained from secondary sources through relevant federal government agencies such as CBN Statistical Bulletin, Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS). Tax revenue collected from CIT, PPT, EDT, and VAT sources from 2013 to 2021 made up the population of the study. Sample size consists of all tax revenue collected between 2013 and 2021 because, most of the data last update (like FIRS) was 2021. The findings from the descriptive analysis showed that average level of inflation rate in Nigeria for the period under study (2013-2021) is approximately 12.4% which is relatively high. The hypothesis showed that the expenditure on Health Infrastructural Development has positive relationship with company income tax (CIT), Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), Value Added Tax (VAT) and has a non-significant positive relationship with Education Tax (EDT). The study therefore concluded that the that petroleum profit Tax (PPT) and Company Income Tax (CIT) and Value Added Tax (VAT) are the only three taxes that significantly influences the development healthcare infrastructure in Nigeria while Education Tax do not significantly influence health care infrastructural development in the country. The study recommended that effective, efficient and transparent structure of collection should be encouraged to support the contribution of these taxes to transparently spending these funds generated on health care development in a manner that will improve the nations Heath facilities and also adequate and transparent revenue should be generated through Value Added Tax (VAT). The study adopted survey research design for the methodology and carefully employed convenience random sampling techniques to administer the questionnaire. Population of the selected FMCG was 18,382 and the sample size derived for this study was 490 elements using Raosoft sample size calculator. Questionnaire was adopted in order to obtain information from the focus population concerning the current status of the study through primary data collection. The study adopted a descriptive and inferential statistic using mean and partial least squares – structural equation model (PLS-SEM). A total of four hundred and seventy-seven (477) copies were returned and four hundred and sixteen (416) copies were certified as duly filled and considered usable with 84.8% response rate. The findings in this study revealed that indirect effect shows a path analysis from Branding strategies → market orientation → corporate competitiveness (β=0.141, t= 2.158, p= 0.000) and Q2 value (0.560, 0.331) proves that the indirect path is significant. the result posits that the impact of branding strategies has on corporate competitiveness is partially as a result of the market orientation in place the FMCG investigated in Lagos state, Nigeria. The effect branding strategies have on corporate competitiveness of FMCGs is partially explained through deploying market orientation. The study concluded that branding strategy components have positive and significant effect on corporate competitive using market orientation as a mediator. The study therefore recommended that organisation need to undertake and improve on brand building practice due to dynamic changes in competitive marketing environment. The increase in government operating costs, coupled with the government's desire to address the infrastructure deficit and the social needs of its citizens, has left various governments with little choice but to develop measures to boost their revenue base. The Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and Benefits Theory of Taxation serves as the theoretical backbone. The descriptive survey design method was used in this research work. The population consist of 9800 staffs at the Federal Inland Revenue Service. Taro Yamane formula was adopted to arrive at 384 sample size. The simple random sampling technique was use to distribute a well-structured questionnaire to the respondents. The data was analysed using descriptive and influential statistics. The findings revealed that tax auditors’ proficiency, integrity and competence, desk tax audit, field tax audit and back duty tax correlates with revenue generation in Nigeria at 0.375, 0.261, 0.331 and 0.202 which are positive all correlations. This means that tax auditors’ proficiency, integrity, desk tax audit, field tax audit and back duty tax influences revenue generation in Nigeria and the relationships was statistically significant at the p= .001 level (F=10.738, P<0.05). The study concludes that Tax is an important source of government revenue. As such, the government must adopt strategies that will promote a sustainable level of tax revenue and avoid leakages that will defer government developmental projects. It is in this regard that this study deems it fit to investigate the effect of Trade Credit and Credit Policy on Performance of Building Industry in Nigeria. Ex-post facto research design was adopted. Population consists of 32 building industries in Nigeria. Data was collected from annual reports of the 32 industries. Data collected was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Findings revealed that trade credit had significant influence on performance of building industry in Nigeria (Adj. R2 = 0.138; p = 0.000), credit policy was found to be significantly effective on performance of building industry in Nigeria (Adj. R2 = 0.100; p = 0.000). Jointly, trade credit and credit policy were found to statistically significantly affect performance of building industry in Nigeria (Adj. = 0.106, p = 0.000). Hence, the main objective of this study is to examine the influence of digital marketing on buyer’s purchase intention of household products in Abeokuta, Nigeria. The study adopted cross-sectional survey research design. The total population of the two local Government equates to four hundred and forty-nine thousand, and eighty-eight (449,088) households’ buyers in Abeokuta, Ogun State. A sample size of 600 was obtained using Bowley sampling technique. Convenience sampling technique was adopted to select the respondents. A structured questionnaire was adapted and validated for data collection. Finding revealed that digital/online advertising have significant influence on buyers’ purchase intention (β = .473; t = 10.886; p<0.05). Furthermore, content marketing have significant influence on buyers’ purchase intention (β = .473; t = 10.886; p<0.05). One possible explanation is that in recent years, interest among stakeholders in firms’ non-financial activities has increased. As such, this research looked into the correlations between environmental, social, employee health and safety, and economic sustainability reporting and the performance measures (Gross Profit after Tax and Return on Capital Employed) of Nigeria's Deposit Money Banks. Ex- post facto research design was adopted and all of the Deposit Money Banks (DMBs) in Nigeria served as the population for this study, from which a random selection of 10 listed DMBs were judgmentally sampled. Data was acquired from the financial reports of the sampled banks was analysed using panel regression analysis across a 11-year time span (2010-2021). The findings shows that Corporate Social Sustainability Reporting had a negative and insignificant effect on financial performance measures with the probability value of 49% which is extremely higher than 0.05% statistically insignificant. Economic Sustainability Reporting documented a statistically significant positive effect of economic sustainability on performance measures(0.4781***). Similarly, Environmental Sustainability Reporting also showed positive significant effect on both performance measure (0.0148***). Finally, employee health and safety sustainability disclosure affect firm performance positively and significantly with a t-statistic of 3.23 and prob-value of 0.00 which is significant at 0.05 indicating statistical significance. it was recommended that reporting on environmental issues was helpful to the firms' health and survival, and so regulations that would sustain such reporting (such as required disclosure on environmental issues) should be encouraged. In addition, businesses and financial institutions should prioritise customer satisfaction to boost the approval of policies promoting engagement in social sustainability and, by extension, reduce the likelihood of financial losses.
