Welcome to the Department of Politics and International Relations
The Department of Politics and International Relations is an academic department in LCU. It focuses on the study of political processes, systems, institutions, and behavior, as well as the dynamics of international relations and global affairs. Students may study a variety of topics, including political theory, comparative politics, public policy, political economy, international law, diplomacy, conflict resolution, and security studies. Departments of Politics and International Relations often offer undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including Bachelor of Arts (BA), Master of Arts (MA), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees. These programs provide students with a comprehensive understanding of political phenomena at local, national, and international levels, as well as the analytical skills necessary to engage in critical analysis and research within the field.
